Earth Day is celebrated globally every year on April 22 to raise awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability. Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU), Darbhanga, took a commendable initiative to spread a strong message of environmental consciousness and creative expression with vibrant student-led activities on the occasion.
Poster Making and Essay Competition
A Green Canvas of Ideas, Darbhanga: On April 21, 2025, LNMU’s Geography Postgraduate Department hosted several interdepartmental competitions, including poster making and essay writing, in honor of Earth Day. These events encouraged students to think critically about environmental challenges and express their concerns through art and writing.

It included departments like Geography, English, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Political Science and Psychology.
