A lot of students get stuck right at this point, and the process seems really complicated to them.
In this article, I’m going to show you how you can do your PCI registration from home, right from your mobile phone. I’ll tell you the fees, what documents you need, and how long it takes to get your certificate after registering.

What is PCI Registration
PCI registration is a licensing process required by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) that certifies a B.Pharm or D.Pharm graduate as a qualified pharmacist. Without it, you cannot legally practice medicine, open a pharmacy, or get a job as a pharmacist in India.
Before You Start: Get Your Documents Ready
Before starting the registration, you need to have all your documents ready and in the right format – like PDF, JPEG, or JPG. The file sizes also need to be under the limit, like less than 50 KB or 1 MB.
Here’s the full list:
- Your Photo: The format should be JPEG or JPG, size less than 50 KB. The pixel size should be 200×230, otherwise, you’ll get an error.
- Your Signature: File size should be less than 20 KB, again in JPEG or JPG format. Pixel size should be 140×60.
If your file size is too big, you can use a Photo & Picture Resizer website or app to reduce it.
All the other documents below need to be in PDF format and under 1 MB in size.
